Hotel Astoria is a charming hotel in Noordwijk, a 5-minute walk from the beach, shops and bars. All hotel rooms can be reached by elevator and are equipped with free Wi-Fi. There is a restaurant, lounge, bar, and two conference rooms.

Hotel Astoria’s rooms feature a flat-screen TV and private bathroom.

Parking facilities are available at site for a surcharge. Bus stop Pickeplein is a 1-minute walk away and offers direct access to Leiden Central Station.

Located on the edge of Noordwijkerhout, this conference hotel features 4 restaurants, 3 bars and a terrace. Leiden and Haarlem are a 20-minute drive away.

Cable TV and a work desk are provided in each of the rooms at NH Conference Center Leeuwenhorst. Each room also includes a tray with tea and coffee making equipment.

NH Leeuwenhorst is only 10 minutes by car from Noordwijk aan Zee and the beach. The Noordwijkse Golf Club is just over a 5-minute drive from the hotel. Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is 25 minutes’ drive away.

Amsterdam

Tuesday 8. July 2025 – Discover The Netherlands! Amsterdam, & Zaanse Schans

Our coach with English speaking driver picks you up from Noordwijk and takes you to centre of Amsterdam while our friendly local English speaking guide explains the ins & outs of Dutch daily life!

We board one of the famous canalboats for an amazing hour long trip along the famous Amsterdam canals; the very best way to visit this charming historic city center!

After this visit to Amsterdam we drive on to the Zaanse Schans, a very charming, well preserved Dutch village close to Zaandam.

After our arrival at Zaanse Schans we plan a traditional Dutch pancake lunch.(2 courses incl. a traditional pancake and 2 drinks) Enjoy!

After lunch our guide will direct you across the Zaanse Schans where you will be able to visit a clog factory and watch our famous clogs be produced up close.

But also a local cheese farm can be visited where you can taste, pick up and order your different cheeses to be shipped home to the family.
Along the Zaan river you will notice different windmills.
Of course we included a visit to one of the windmills ‘De Zwarte Kat’.

But on your own, do not forget to visit the intriguing candy store filled to the brim with old fashioned Dutch candies, the little pewter tower
or have a coffee and a traditional apple cake at De Swarte Walvis overlooking the river.

After so many different impressions it is hard to leave this fascinating area, but the coach is ready to take you back to Noordwijk.

Delft / Den Haag

Thursday 10. July 2025 – The Hague & Delft

Our coach with English speaking driver picks you up from Noordwijk and takes you to centre of The Hague while our friendly local English speaking guide will tell you all about todays visits to the Royal City of The Hague and the historic events in Delft that link both places.

Royal Tour through the international city of The Hague ending at the Mauritshuis.

At Mauritshuis Museum an audiotour is available in your preferred language and you will see the famous Golden Age paintings of old masters such as Johannes Vermeer, a cultural highlight of this tour!

We travel from The Hague to Delft and arrive at Royal Delft Pottery!
Lunch (warm, 3 courses) at Royal Delft Brasserie 1653 .
After lunch visit to the Royal Delft Pottery.
Short drive to center of Delft and some free time to explore the
canals and may be pay a visit to one of the local museums.

Time to head back to Noordwijk by coach.
Expected arrival at Noordwijk and end of the tour.
